Nemesia

Nemesia is the Spanish feminine form of Nemesius, which itself is a Latinized form of the Greek name Nemesios, ultimately derived from the name of the Greek goddess Nemesis, meaning 'distribution of what is due, righteous anger.' In Greek mythology, Nemesis was the personification of divine retribution and justice.

The name Nemesius was borne by a 4th-century Christian philosopher from Emesa (modern-day Homs, Syria), who wrote the influential work On the Nature of Man. It was also the name of an early Christian saint and martyr, recorded in the Roman Martyrology under April 16.
