Elroi

Elroi is a Hebrew name meaning "God who sees me", derived from ʾel ("God") and raʾa ("to see"). In the Old Testament, Hagar, the handmaid of Sarah, gives this epithet to God after receiving a prophecy from an angel in the wilderness (see Genesis 16:13). Hagar, who is also the mother of Ishmael, uses this name to express her awe at being seen and heard by God in her distress.
