Saint Bonaventure
The most notable bearer is Saint Bonaventure (born Giovanni di Fidanza, 1221–1274), an Italian Scholastic theologian and philosopher, the seventh Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, and a Doctor of the Church known as the "Seraphic Doctor". His feast day is 15 July. He was canonized in 1482 and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1588.
