Cesarina

Cesarina is a feminine diminutive of Cesare, the Italian form of Caesar. Rooted in a Roman cognomen possibly meaning "hairy" from Latin caesaries (hair), the name Caesar gained immense stature through Gaius Julius Caesar and his adopted heir Augustus, two towering figures of the 1st century BC whose rule shaped the Roman Empire. The name later evolved into an imperial title used by Roman emperors and, over time, spread across Europe in various vernacular forms including the Italian Cesare.
